Not a chore

I love washing the dishes. We have a dishwasher machine now but for all the non-dishwasher safe things that needs cleaning I gladly do it myself.

When I got off the sofa to do the dishes the other night my wife offered to do it. I calmly and firmly told her no. I also made a remark that she doesn't need to worry about it because I genuinely enjoy doing it. For a trivial household chore like this I know it is quite unusual, some might say they even hate doing it.

There's just something about seeing grease and leftover food get washed off by dishwashing soap that satisfies my senses. And to top it all off I will then neatly stack food containers, spatulas, and knives. It feels so good.

With all that being said I still think I can't live without a dishwasher machine anymore.
